• About the IFC

The Interfraternity Council (IFC) is the governing board of seventeen of the University's recognized fraternities. IFC is made up of seven executive officers and one full-time, professional staff member who advises the council.

The executive council is collectively tasked with overseeing the various aspects of the University of Oregon's fraternity life community and advocating for the interests of all fraternity men at the University of Oregon. We aspire to promote a culture of leadership, service, brotherhood, and scholarship within our community and build stronger men.

The University of Oregon's Interfraternity Council is committed to all expectations set forth by the North-American Interfraternity Council governing standards and is especially committed to building a community that is inclusive to individuals of diverse backgrounds.

The IFC continually seeks to develop programming to enhance the social, intellectual, and mental well-being of the men who comprise the council's 17 member fraternities. IFC is committed to promoting the ideal that becoming a fraternity man has tangible benefits for every college student and we strive to make every individual's fraternity experience positive and valuable.
